When you feel that your life seems to be blocked or that your mental health is not what you wanted it to be, then it’s time to breathe and read Louise Hay’s book “You Can Heal Your Life.” This book once again showed me how to love and give myself time to heal my trauma. He also taught me the power of affirmation. In my journey to heal my body and mind, I have sometimes forgotten how strong my daily affirmations are.

However, every time I asked the universe to help me, the only solution that worked for me was to pray and continue with my statements until I felt better. So when you feel depressed, continue with your daily statements and don’t give up, because the Universe is always close to us to help and guide us. Trust in the process of life and enjoy every present moment and your life will be reborn. Be kind to yourself and don’t forget that every change starts with you.

“USE YOUR BRAIN TO CHANGE YOUR AGE” BY Dr.Daniel G. Amen made me understand how important it is to maintain a balance between your mental and physical life and how to have a younger brain. I knew this before, but this book made me more aware of the importance of food quality as well as the importance of exercise and brain training.

This book teaches us how to make our brains and bodies younger. Dr.Daniel Amen explains very clearly the benefits of healthy eating, daily exercise  and meditation and gives us tips for a happier and healthier life.

I know that life is hard and challenging most of the time, but from my experience I have felt in my body that I can maintain a balanced life more easily if I eat healthy, exercise regularly and calm my mind with yoga and meditation.

The worst thing is if we go back to our bad habits and feel more depressed and unhappy if we do not continue our journey of transformation.

Keep going, you are in the right direction, and this is the way to self-love and self-compassion. Be kind to yourself even when you can’t handle a situation and start over. Remember that you can always start again by putting yourself first because you are the most important.

My journey after a year and 27kg less(almost 60 ponds).

It’s been almost a year since I decided to change my life and started my journey to lose weight and heal my heart. My life has improved so much, as has my health. I remember just a year ago how bad my physical condition was. At that moment, I could not walk for more than 5 minutes without my whole body resisting and my breathing was growing so fast. My mental health was very low and I remember how depressed and miserable I felt at that moment.

I am grateful every day for my awakening and awareness. I’ve had bad days and good days, but the important lesson is that I can keep my balance in my life. Now I can face the challenge with more sincerity and more faith. I trust in God more and more every day.

A year of transformation that makes me ask questions and find myself. Many of my bad habits have been replaced and improved. This trip focused more on my mental healing, but I realized that if I want to improve my mental health, I also need to improve my physical health. This journey is just beginning and will continue with more faith, trust and love. Love, forgive and have faith and your life will change forever. Trust yourself and start changing your life now, it’s never too late. Remember that every change starts with you.

Frittata with broccoli,carrots, mushroom and cherry tomatoes

This simple frittata combine broccoli, mushroom ,carrots, cherry tomatoes and feta cheese. If you are not a fan of fetta you can easily replace the feta with other type of cheese.

Servings for 2

Total: 30 minutes 

Ingredients:

1cup of broccoli fresh or frozen

150g(1and cup) cherry tomatoes

50g(1/2cup) mushroom

50g reduce fat feta chees

2 tablespoons of olive oil

1/4 teaspoon salt

a pinch of pepper

In a large pan put the broccoli  with chopped mushroom and cherry tomatoes and cook it for 8 minute with 2 olive tablespoon of oil, stirring occasionally. Cook over medium-low heat.

Then place the mixture in an oven tray. Mix the eggs with the feta cheese and place on top of the mixture. Preheat the oven and put the tray in the oven for 10-15 minutes. It can be served with salad, hot or cold. This food is really delicious and can replace breakfast or lunch or even dinner.

Spinach omlete with parmesan

150g spinach,
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons olive oil,
2 tablespoon parmesan cheese
2 medium mushrooms, salt and pepper to taste

Put the spinach in a hot pan with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and cook for 3 minutes.
Mix 2 eggs like an omelette and put in the pan over the spinach. Cook for a few minutes on each side and add the 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese on top.

Chicken salad with tomatoes,avocado and sunflower seeds

Ingredient:
3 tomatoes
150 g grilled chicken breast
a quarter of an avocado
a tablespoon of raw sunflower seeds
a pinch of sea salt

Cut all the ingredients into small cubes and mix. It is very easy and quick to prepare this salad and your stomach will feel full for a long time. Enjoy your food and don’t forget that food must be a medicine, not a poison for your body.

Lentil meal with leeks and spinach salad with avocado

Lentil Ingredients:

1 cup red lentils
2 medium leeks
3 tablespoons mashed tomatoes
salt, thyme and smoked paprika

Salad ingredients

Spinach leaves, 1/4 avocado and lemon.

Cut the leeks and put them in a pan with 2 olive oil for cooking.
-Leave for 5 minutes and mix until the leeks change color.
-Then put 3 tablespoons of tomato puree and 2 cups of water.Put the lid on and boil until the water evaporates. About 20 minutes are ready.

For the salad, wash only the spinach and mix with the avocado and lemon juice
